How Much Do You Charge to List a Home, Rob?
In today's economy, I understand that every little bit of savings to a Seller will certainly help. That is why I have structured a commission strategy that is fair and comprehensive. Plus, I do NOT charge any upfront non-refundable fees and I do NOT make you do any of the work to offset the costs.
Standard Sale:
- 5% Fee - This fee is divided as follows: 2% to me (Realty Executives) and 3% to the Buyer's agent. So, if your home sells for $200,000 you will save $2,000 compared to an agent that charges 6%.
- 4% Fee - If I represent you AND the Buyer (thus creating "Dual Agency") then I reduce my fee to 4%. So, if your home sells for $200,000 you will save $4,000 compared to an agent that charges 6%.
Note: Commissions are net set by law, so shop around and compare my commission structure. 6% seems to be the average, so you might find you could be paying more or sometimes less than 6%.
When shopping around, consider just some of the benefits of working with me:
- I do believe in Open Houses and will hold them at your home with your consent.
- I will advertise your home.
- I place a minimum of 10 photos of your home in the MLS and the Internet.
- I pay extra to have your home listed on Realtor.com with multiple photos and extra text.
- You will NOT have to pay anything out of your pocket to me until your home sells!
- Weekly updates from me regarding showings, suggestions, etc..
- Automated HomeFeedback.com system where you can see the actual comments from agents who have showed your property to clients.
